Robin Barnett

Specialties:

With each massage, I try to meet the client’s need for therapeutic work while providing a relaxing, healing, time-out from the stress and hecticness of every day life.

I utilize a variety of modalities, the most specialized of which uses a rhythmic stretching of muscles with massage to the belly of the muscle. This technique elongates chronically shortened muscles. This can relieve pain at attachment sites, joints, or other areas where pain may have been referred due to nerve entrapment.

My years of experience in mediation and collaborative problem-solving also influences my work. I see the body as many parts working in collaboration with one another. The physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual all work together (and are not separate from one another) and all need respect and validation. This is the heart of my work.
