Class Descriptions:

 

Gentle Pilates : Get deep into your Pilates practice, unwind, review or begin. (On-going 6 week series)

Pilates on a Roll : Challenge your core by performing Pilate's exercises on the foam roller and ball incorporating basic body rolling.

( On-going 6 week series )

Pilates Mat Class: Come strengthen your core, develop greater flexibility and balance in a fun and supportive environment! Deepen your awareness and appreciation for your body through a mindful form of exercise!

Body Rolling:

Rolling and systematic release of the entire body concluding with joint mobility exercises.

Yoga Hatha Iyengar : Classes are on-going. Levels 1-3, If you have absolutely no yoga experience please call instructor.

 

GYROKINESIS ® :is an exercise class that guides users to simultaneously stretch and strengthen muscles and tendons while also articulating and mobilizing the joints. Corresponding breathing patterns are engaged during the performance of the exercises and its circular movements are drawn from dance, tai chi, and swimming.

 

Body Rolling Workshop: 5 week workshop. Students will need to purchase 5" ”fitball, pump, and pinky ball before class starts. Roller should be purchased after first class. Please register for this workshop with instructor Katie Ybarra.

Body Sculpting: Body Sculpting is a one hour total body workout involving but not limited to body weight exercises , hand weights, stability balls , balance, flexibility, Pilates, circuit training , and partner exercises. All workouts are suitable for men and women of all fitness levels from professional athlete to fitness novice. You will strengthen your muscles without getting big and bulky and increase your level of endurance. Each workout is different from the last to ensure you are getting the maximum benefits from your workout. Adjustments and modifications can be made to accommodate those with prior injuries and special needs .

The Working Body Intensive Weight Loss Camp:

10 WEEK SESSION

Work with some of the most experienced Personal Trainers in the Bay Area to get fit and stay healthy. The Working Body’s Intensive Weight Loss Camp will focus on weight loss through holistic and attainable methods. Increase your cardiovascular capacity, fire up your metabolism, boost energy and gain core strength through a fun and exciting workshop.

The intensive includes nutritional guidance, body conditioning, aerobic and core work-outs. Individual assessments involve; body composition, anaerobic threshold and heart rate evaluation at the beginning and end of camp. A weekly Nutritional segment,, will teach you to maintain a food journal, plan healthy meals and make realistic changes to your diet.

As always, additional coaching for supplemental workouts outside of camp will continue to be available, including resistance training, core work, partner work, and cardiovascular training.

Mondays 5:50-7:00 pm, and on Wednesdays and Fridays 5:30-6:30 pm.
