Experience: 10 years as a PT, 15 years cycling, 20 years weight training including power lifting, and wresting, and recovery from various disc injuries Testimonial: It is with great pleasure that I write this letter regarding my personal trainer, Curtis Cramblett. I am a retired fire fighter and professional motivational speaker. I left the fire service five years ago after an injury from an automobile accident left me unable to walk for over a year. After a great deal of treatment, I had rehabilitated to a point that doctors felt was acceptable. However, I did not find it acceptable. I could not walk without pain, could not stand straight, and had a very weak neck and shoulders. I couldn't run or bike, and sitting, driving or standing for periods of time left me in greater pain. I spent my entire career in top physical condition, and knew that it was possible to return to a better condition than I was. So I started asking around if there were any personal trainers that could work miracles. And then I found Curtis. Curtis' professional manner and his personal interest in my success gave me the confidence to believe that I could improve. His attention to my condition and knowledge of exactly the correct motions, exercises, stretches, diet, therapies, equipment and treatments made a program that I could follow and see results. I've had many people over the years try to "'tailor make" a program for me, but they still gave me the template exercises that could be found in any book. Curtis demonstrates that he understands what is right for me, and created a program that really is right for me. Now I am running, biking, hiking, snowshoeing, sledding, skiing, able to drive, sit and stand for hours without abnormal discomfort, and feeling and looking great (especially for an old woman!) In fact, sometimes I think my husband appreciates Curtis even more! Curtis has my utmost respect and highest regard as a professional, and absolutely has my recommendation as the best. Please feel free to contact me if you'd like to hear more about my personal trainer. WENDE SCHALLMAN Kelly attended the Hawaiian Islands School of Body Therapies where she studied medically-based massage techniques including Lomi Lomi, Myofascial Release, CranioSacral Therapy (Level 1), Reflexology, Thai, pregnancy massage, Swedish, Lymphatic, and deep tissue sports techniques. Kelly brings an intuitive sense of touch to her massage sessions. She often uses Lomi Lomi massage (loosely translated from the Hawaiians as "loving hands massage") with gentle, continuous, flowing strokes to nurture the body and increase vitality. These long, continuous strokes all flow toward the heart, opening the heart center. According to traditional Hawaiian beliefs, Lomi Lomi massage works on many levels, enabling healing to occur spiritually, mentally, and emotionally. Since 2003, Kelly has been practicing massage therapy. Her clients range from people just wanting to maintain health, to clients seeking postsurgical care, and to athletes. In particular, anyone seeking stress management for auto-immune diseases, cancer, and even weight loss. Massage can facilitate transformation of the body, mind, and spirit by releasing old habits/toxins, balancing the endocrine system, and easing the nervous system and muscles.

www.urbanwildfitness.com 510-918-4280 Competitive, determined, intelligent, driven, focused, funny, energetic, outgoing, strong, motivated..... Those are some of the ways people describe Alison in all aspects of her life...Born and raised in Eugene, Oregon, she grew up running through the woods, waterskiing, playing soccer, softball, basketbal, and other organized sports. When she was 8 she began running local 5k road races, but it wasn't until high school that she found her true love and passion in track and field. Alison ran the 800 meters in 2:06 and pole-valulted 12'6 for her high school and on the Junior Olympic level, solidifyling herself as one of the top female athletes in her region. Growing up in Track Town USA, Alison dreamed of running track for the University of Oregon and her hometown crowd. Unfortunatley, Alison broke her back while pole-vaulting, ending her track and field career her freshman year in college. It was this event that led Alison to where she is today. She began training other athletes, helping them prepare for all levels of competition from middle school to professional athletics; giving them guidance with nutrition, cardiovascular, and strength training. While her passion will always be in athletics, she wanted to touch the lives of more people and began training more of the general population; helping people lose weight/gain weight, rehabilitate from injuries, overcome eating disorders through excercise, ensure healthy pregnancies, combat osteoporosis and other age related issues, and general health and fitness. Alison believes everyone is an athlete on some level and infuses her many years of training as an elite athlete into each and every workout. When Alison is not training both athletes and the general population clientele through private sessions, body sculpting classes, and her boot camp in the San Francisco bay area, Alison volunteers her time at local middle schools and high schools as a track ad field/cross country coach. In addition to this Alison founded a non-profit in Cost Rica. She trains a group of 35 aspiring young athletes ages 5-16 in a small rural town on the Caribbean coast of Cost Rica. Judy also studied and worked in the field of Dance/Movement Therapy in the early 1980s. During her time working as a student counselor at UC Berkeley, Judy started taking on-campus Pilates mat classes in the 1990s and fell in love with the Pilates method of exercise. She became a regular in the class for years, and occasionally had private sessions with the instructor. Upon the instructors retirement from the university Pilates classes, fellow students and classmates of hers encouraged her to begin teaching so she decided to get her Pilates Mat certification. Judy received her Pilates mat certification through ITT Pilates and has been teaching the class twice weekly for the past five years. She has continued training through ITT, and became a certified Pilates personal trainer a couple of years ago. During her training, she did most of her observation, practice teaching & personal practice hours at The Working Body. In 2007 Judy joined TWB staff part-time. Experience: 12 years as a Personal Trainer, 9 years as a Post Rehab Conditioning Specialist, 8 years as a Spinning Instructor, and 2 years as a certified Nutrition Consultant Bio: Patty Torza has been involved in the Fitness business since 1973, and has been counseling people in the Nutrition business since 1998. Her approach to fitness is client goal-oriented, motivating, fun, and focuses on functional training (teaching people how to move as they do in every day life). Her clients see results! Posture assessment and attention to this important piece of fitness is emphasized. In 2002, Patty began her formal education at Bauman College for Holistic Nutrition. She graduated in 2004 with a certification as a Nutrition Consultant and has been counseling clients ever since. Her approach to nutrition is through whole foods, those foods found 'just as they are' in nature. Refined and processed foods have led us to the many degenerative diseases that we are seeing today, especially refined carbohydrates. She designs customized nutrition programs that support her client's goals as well as their unique and individual needs. She also does group lectures on various nutrition topics. Testimonial: Patty Torza has been my personal trainer for over two years, and as such, she has made herself an indispensable part of my life. As a teacher and coach, Patty intuitively knows how to strike a balance between being tough and being nurturing; she has inspired me to work toward goals that for many years lay dormant. She is comfortable with herself and clear in her communication with me. While very focused and serious about our sessions, she also has a wonderful sense of humor that makes me laugh even in the middle of a "crunch"! Although I didn't know Patty during her years of formal study, I have seen how her intellectual curiosity leads her to read widely and conduct research in the areas of greatest interest. Over these past years, she has been sharing with me information she has learned in the field of nutrition, about which she is passionate. She is highly self-motivated, and an excellent student of fitness and nutrition. The best teachers teach by example , and Patty exemplifies this maxim. She lives her life in a way that supports her beliefs and the principles that she upholds.
